It’s getting very close to Christmas vacation time for many of you and I thought you might like to know about the really great things you can check out from the library. Of course, you all know we have books, DVDs, audio books, magazines, and CDs for loan, but you may not know that we also have knitting needles, tools, patterns, and magazines!
We also just added rubber stamps as part of our circulating collection. We currently have 10 sets of stamps that you can use to make cards, embellish your scrapbook pages, or decorate just about anything you can think of. We are actively looking to add more rubber stamps to our collection, so if you have any you would like to pass on to us, bring them down.
Are there other unusual items you would like to see us loan? Hand tools, cookie cutters, fishing equipment (yes, there are libraries out there that loan these kinds of things)? Give us your ideas and we will see if we can make it work.
