Welcome to November!

Back by popular demand is Food for Fines month, with a twist. We will once again be donating all collected items to the Canaan Senior Center Food Pantry but this year, instead of just looking for shelf-stable food items, we are also looking for hygiene products and cleaning supplies.

Kate, the Director of the Senior Center mentioned that during economic tough times, people often cut the hygiene and cleaning products out of their budgets to have enough money for food.

With the onset of winter colds and flus right around the corner, this is not the time to go without.

So, bring in items for the Food Pantry and wipe out your overdue fines at the same time — how easy could it be!
