On Your Mark, Get Set, . . . Read!
Hi families!
You are invited to participate in Canaan Town Library’s Summer Reading Program and attend the fun events we are planning.
This summer’s theme, The 2016 Summer Reading Olympics, is geared to bring excitement and adventure to reading. All programs are free and open to all children, preschool through 5th grade. Sign up begins Saturday, June 25.
In addition to the basic reading program, our Special Activities include:
Saturday, July 9; 10 am-1 pm:
The Reading Triathlon Crafts & Activities
Saturday, July 16; 10 am-1 pm:
Reading Relay Crafts & Activities
Saturday, July 23; 10 am-1 pm:
Let the Games Begin: Fencing Demo 10:00 am followed by Crafts & Activities
Friday, July 29; 6 pm:
Stuffed Animal Sleep Over
(Only stuffed animals stay overnight)
Saturday, July 30; 1pm:
Pick up your animal friend and stay for the Ice Cream Social!
