This year’s winners of the Canaan Community Spelling Bee are:

Best Team Name:

The Canaan Cool Dudes — Bruce Shinn, Jim Laffan and Mickey Dowd

Best Team Costume:

The Blue-Footed Boo-Bees — Susan Jukowsky, Melissa Allen and Elizabeth Chabot

Champion Spellers:

The Beekeepers — Joanna Carr, Cindy Neily and Amy Thurber

 

The competition was stiff, the cookies were delicious and the evening was great fun!
