Looking at Art

Join us and Indian River Middle School Art Teacher, Cynthia Cummings-Birch for a discussion of the who, the what, and the why of art.

We will focus on four classic pieces and will delve into the artists’ lives and influences.

Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Canaan Town Library, you will soon be able to take your new art knowledge on a trip to the Currier Museum of Art, Manchester, NH, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Ma, or the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA), North Adams, Ma.
