Happy Birthday Charles Dickens!

Today is the 200th anniversary of the birth of author of classic works: Tale of Two Cities, Oliver Twist, and Great Expectations.  He is being celebrated all over the world today including Prince Charles cutting a birthday cake, Google honoring him in a Google Doodle and the Bronx Museum of Arts launching a writing contest for teens.

What’s your favorite Dicken’s character? Mine is Madame Defarge from A Tale of Two Cities. you’ve gotta love a feisty woman with principles!
