We belong to the New Hampshire Downloadable Books Consortium. Using your Canaan Town Library card number, you can download eBooks and audios to your smartphone (using the Libby for Overdrive app) or a variety of tablets, laptops, and other devices.
There are over 25,000 titles in the NHDB collection, many with multiple copies (this is a one-copy, one-user service). Titles are added to both collections monthly. NHDB is also offers digital magazines, easily read within the Libby app. Magazines do not count against your check-outs either.
Libby is a free app where you can enjoy ebooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines from your public library. You can stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a library card.
