
RWAR! Canaan Town Library’s Summer Reading Program is a pterrific to encourage everyone to read all summer long – in whatever form that takes! It could be audiobooks, eBooks, graphic novels, picture books, chapter books – we love them all! Whatever your age, we hope you will Unearth a Story at the library this summer!
All programs are free and open to all children, preschool through 5th grade. This year, we are hoping you will join us by playing READING BINGO! Fill in the squares on your bingo card to win some great prizes.

Summer Events:
July 11, 9:30 am: Story Time
July 18, 11:30 am: Dino-riffic! Ice Cream Social Build your own sundae, play some dino-mite games, and more!
July 25, 10 am – 12 pm: Lego Club AND Take and Make Craft Kit*
August 8, 9:30 am: Story Time
August 14, 10:00 am: Simon Brooks, Storyteller. Your own local-to-New Hampshire British storyteller Simon Brooks, will show that stories are everywhere waiting to be unearthed. Digging wells, giants creating hills, Ulysses and Cyclops, giants defeating sea monsters on the South Coast of Wales and maybe a ‘local’ New Hampshire tale will be part of this program. August 15: Take and Make Craft Kit*
August 29, 10 am – 12 pm: Lego Club

Summer Reading is designed to encourage reading for pleasure in a relaxed environment, stimulate a lifelong reading habit, provide an opportunity to make friends and connect with library staff, and generally create interest in libraries.
