Story Hour

Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10am. Come join us for giggles, stories and fun. All are welcome.

Knitting Circle

Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. All levels of knitters are welcome and volunteer, Judy Glover-McHugh, will be on hand to get all new knitters started. Meets the first and third Monday of every month from 6pm-8:30pm. The library has knitting needles and notions available for loan. Donations of yarn are welcome.

Basement Bookies

Meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm. Join us for exciting and energetic discussion of books classic to contemporary.

Canaan Home Library Home Calendar Welcome to the Canaan Town Library, a small rural library in the Upper Valley Region of New Hampshire. We are located at the base of Cardigan Mountain, a beautiful backdrop for our small town of about 3,500. Life in Canaan is simple, and we try to compliment that lifestyle by offering all the conveniences of larger libraries with small town comfort. The Canaan Town Library is also available to the residents of four other towns that share our school district.
