The youngest performer of the night at the Walker Brother’s Circus!

I have now officially attended my first circus — I loved it!  The Walker Brother’s Circus is in Canaan for one more night, and if I were you, I would clear your schedule and head down to the Canaan Speedway to check it out.  There were jugglers, ponies, tightrope walkers, plate spinners, and even a man who could spin his daughter on his feet!
If you were at the second performance Tuesday night, you may have even seen the two newest members of the circus — My Husband Pete and Me!  That’s right, we have our young friend Emma to thank for getting a chance to perform a romantic magic trick!
Okay, so here goes the Library plug: we have lots of stories about the circus for children and a small collection of Little circus wagon magazine, the official publication of Circus Model Builders International.  There are also some great novels about the circus including Water for Elephants and The Final Confession of Mabel Stark.
